The action got underway on 4th October, The Kestrels put on a commanding performance away from home, dispatching Thunder with a resounding 6-1 victory. The visitors’ attack was relentless throughout, with crisp passing and clinical finishing proving too much for the Thunder defence. This result will give the Kestrels a strong confidence boost.

Caps showed their mettle with a solid 4-1 win over the Pirates. The home side dominated possession and took their chances well, keeping the Pirates largely on the back foot. The Pirates managed to notch a consolation goal, but the Caps’ team and intensity were the decisive factors.

In a one-sided game, the Rockets steamrolled to a staggering 14-1 victory over Wild. The Rockets’ offensive prowess was on full display, racking up goals at a relentless pace and leaving Wild searching for answers. This result could serve as a turning point for the Rockets as they look to establish themselves as serious contenders.

The clash between Lynx and Sharks was one of the evening’s more tightly contested affairs. Lynx eventually emerged 5-3 winners, thanks to a late burst of energy and some sharp finishing. Both teams showed glimpses of quality, but Lynx’s superior execution in the third period proved decisive.

The Pirates bounced back emphatically in their second game of the night, overwhelming Thunder with an 8-0 shutout. This was a textbook response from the Pirates, who demonstrated both defensive solidity and attacking flair to secure a much-needed win and boost their morale.

The Kestrels rounded off a perfect night with another victory, this time overcoming Wild 6-2. Their consistency and depth across the lines stood out, as they managed to control the tempo and dictate play for much of the match. Wild, despite the scoreline, showed flashes of potential and will be eager to regroup ahead of the next round.
