TEAMS OVERVIEW.

CARDIFF FIRE 

​

Founded in 2015, Cardiff Fire are the affiliates of the Cardiff Devils and play their home games at Ice Arena Wales. The team is led by head coach Elis Sheppard. In the previous season, Cardiff Fire finished 8th in the league and reached the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Their regular season record stood at 7 wins, 26 losses, with an additional 3 defeats in overtime.

CHELMSFORD CHIEFTAINS 

​

The Chieftains were established in 1987 and currently play under the guidance of coach Lewis Clifford. Their home games take place at the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre. Serving as affiliates to the Peterborough Phantoms, Chelmsford Chieftains had an impressive previous season, finishing 3rd in the league standings. Their playoff campaign concluded at the semifinal stage. Throughout the regular season, they achieved 26 wins, 5 losses, along with 1 overtime win and 3 overtime losses.

INVICTA DYNAMOS 

​

Founded in 1997, the Invicta Dynamos play their home fixtures at Planet Ice Gillingham. Coached by Karl Lennon, the Dynamos took over from the Medway Bears and initially competed in the EPIHL until the 2003/2004 season. In the most recent campaign, the Dynamos finished 5th in the league table and advanced to the semifinals of the playoffs. Their regular season run included 18 wins, 14 losses, 2 victories in overtime, and 2 overtime defeats.

ROMFORD BUCCANEERS 

​

The Romford Buccaneers, established in 2018, serve as the affiliate team to the Romford Raiders IHC. Under the leadership of coach Jason Buckman, they call Sapphire Ice and Leisure Centre their home. In the previous season, the Buccaneers secured 6th place in the league standings and were narrowly edged out in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Their regular season performance comprised 14 wins and 19 losses, bolstered by 2 victories in overtime and 1 defeat after regulation.

SLOUGH JETS 

​

One of the few clubs to retain their original name, the Slough Jets were founded in 1986 and boast a storied legacy in British ice hockey. Over the years, they have competed in several leagues, including the BHL (1986–1996), the BNL (1996–2002), and the EPIHL from 2002 until 2014. In the latest campaign, the Jets dominated the regular season, clinching top spot with a remarkable 30 victories against just 3 defeats. They further added to their accolades by winning 2 games in overtime and recording only 1 loss beyond regulation. Their impressive form continued into the postseason, where they were ultimately crowned playoff champions.

SOLENT DEVILS 

​

Founded in 2003, the Solent Devils play their home games at Gosport Ice Arena. The team’s Head coach is Alex Murray. Originally known as the Solent and Gosport Sharks (2003–2007), then the Solent and Gosport Devils (2007–2014), before adopting their current name in 2014. In their most recent season, the Devils secured 4th place in the league, reaching the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Their regular season record featured 22 wins, 12 losses, along with 1 overtime win and 1 overtime loss.

STREATHAM REDHAWKS IHC 

​

As one of the oldest ice hockey clubs in the UK, Streatham's roots can be traced back to 1932. The club's storied history includes a notable triumph in the International Cup during the 1934–1935 season. Today, Streatham Redhawks play their home games at the Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre under the guidance of head coach Ben Paynter. In the most recent campaign, the Redhawks were formidable contenders, securing 2nd place in the league and earning the distinction of playoff runners-up. Their regular season showcased remarkable consistency, with 30 victories, 4 losses, and 2 overtime wins.

SWINDON WILDCATS 2  

The Swindon Wildcats 2, established in 2006, play their home games at The Link Centre and are led by head coach Ken Forshee. Serving as affiliates of the Swindon Wildcats, the team has steadily built its presence within British ice hockey. In their most recent campaign, the Wildcats secured 7th place in the league standings and advanced to the quarterfinals of the playoffs before bowing out. Throughout the regular season, they tallied 12 wins and 20 losses, supplemented by 2 victories and 2 defeats in overtime, reflecting a season marked by determination and resilience.
