As the final fixtures of April came around, It was the U16s and U19s in action on the south coast as the teams travelled down to Brighton for game week three.


In the under 16s division we saw Ash Avalanche, Brighton Stormers, Falcons SHC and Eastbourne Edge all in action.


The Under 19s division saw Ash Avalanche, Banbury Bulldogs, Brighton Stormers, Eastbourne Edge and Oxford Blues Women’s SHC all out to bolster their starts to the season.


Under 16s Youth Division.


Ash Avalanche were standout performers in the under 16 division, finding the back of the net 39 times across their three games down in Brighton.


The Avalanche first faced off against Brighton stormers, securing a 10-0 victory over the Stormers. Showing a good mixture of defensive and offensive style of play.


Next up, Ash Avalanche faced Falcons SHC who continue to improve as the weeks go on.  However, found themselves suffering a 13-0 defeat at the hands of Ash Avalanche.


The Avalanche were not done with their offensive dominance as they played their final game of the day against Eastbourne Edge, who were on the receiving end of 16-1 defeat. On a positive note they did find the back of the net being the only side to do so on the 26th April.


Eastbourne Edge lined up against Banbury Bulldogs in a game that would see the goal figures stay in the single digits region. Making these games a closer affair. The Edge taking the Victory over the Bulldogs 6-2.


Banbury Bulldogs were back in action, this time facing off against Brighton Stormers. Both sides finding the back of the net but Brighton’s defence proving to be more superior and helping the Stormers secure a 6-1 triumph.


Banbury Bulldogs claimed their win on game week three. This came when they played Falcons SHC. In a hard-fought match-up, the Bulldogs defeated the Falcons 4-0.


In a day in the under 16 division which saw some high-scoring games and strong defensive displays, from those achieving maximum points, goes to show the level on talent across the youth category for BiSHA.


Under 19s Junior Division.


In the Under 19 Junior division we had four teams all aiming to get points added to their league standings.


Ash Avalanche and Brighton Stormers lined up against each other, producing lots of goals in this match-up. The Stormers outscoring the Avalanche by eight goals to take a 13-5 victory.


Eastbourne Edge and Oxfords Women’s Blues SHC had a nail-biting encounter.  With both teams showing their grit and determination to keep fighting, both putting up good offensive displays. The Edge narrowly overcoming Oxford 9-8 to take all the points.


The Avalanche and Edge were back out in their second games of the day. With more goals on offer.  Ash Avalanche picked up their first win of the day to end their day on positive note. Eastbourne found the back of the net several times, but couldn’t stop Ash Avalanche putting eleven goals past the Edge. Final score in this one 11-7 to Ash Avalanche.


The final game of the under 19 division, saw Brighton Stormers and Oxford Women’s Blues SHC lining up for their final games of the day.  As Oxford narrowly missed out in their earlier game in the day, The Stormers continued where they left of reaching double figures in this game, to end the day with two victories in game week three. Final score between the two sides 10-5.
