Sellan, Knaggs, and Buesa Headline the New Season
Sellan, Knaggs, and Buesa Headline the New Season

Knaggs moves to Sheffield after already having reached 100 NIHL games, a sign of both his resilience and the confidence shown in him by coaches. After two seasons with the Bees, where he consistently handled tough assignments and grew as a defender, Knaggs moves to Sheffield with the expectation of anchoring the Steeldogs’ blue line. His arrival signals the team’s commitment to blending youth with experience this season.

The Solway Sharks gain a proven winner in 25-year-old Jordan Buesa, who joins after helping the Leeds Knights win back-to-back league titles and a Cup. With prior Elite League experience and 82 points over the last two seasons, Buesa adds leadership, scoring, and a championship mindset to a youthful Solway roster.

Brendan Sellan, a left winger from Bolton, Ontario, brings speed, tenacity, and leadership. He captained the Erie Otters in the OHL, recording a career-high 40 points, and played U Sports hockey with Acadia University. Sellan’s arrival injects North American flair and experience into the NIHL.

With fresh talent and proven winners joining their lineups, NIHL teams are gearing up for a season full of promise, competitive games, and new heroes.
