Major Moves and Fresh Faces Heading Into the New Season

The transfer window has witnessed considerable activity across the United Kingdom and internationally as clubs work to strengthen their squads for the forthcoming season. Below is a summary of player movements since 13 August 2025, encompassing new signings, returns, and notable international transfers that are expected to influence the league landscape.

 

UK forward Zachary Yokoyama completed a transfer from Solihull Barons to HC Luzern, bringing his abilities to the Swiss league and embarking on a significant international chapter in his career.

 

Paul Lane of England signed with the Nottingham Lions following a period without club affiliation. Lane’s addition provides potential for impactful contributions to the Lions’ roster.

 

Several important transfers occurred: Sam Rodgers (England) moved from Hull Jets to Sheffield Scimitars; James Mather (England) transitioned from Nottingham Lions to Telford Tigers as a new defensive asset; Scotland’s Flynn Massie transferred from Widnes Wild to Peterborough Phantoms, enhancing their forward options; Preston Tombs (England) joined the Peterborough Phantoms from Invicta Dynamos to reinforce the defence, while Mathew Saville departed the Phantoms for Leeds Knights 2.
